Carter Kennedy is an unemployed slacker in his late-20s. His friends are all married and have kids, his parents pay for his apartment rent, and he’s dying of kidney failure. Seth and Carter are cousins. When Seth sees his cousin’s dilemma as an opportunity to prove he’s not as self-centered as he once thought, he offers his kidney to Carter.
